My new Weekly Monday evening Beginners Pilates Class is designed to help you learn the foundations in a supportive, welcoming environment — building strength, mobility, body awareness and confidence along the way.

Yoga can support better sleep in several ways — not just by “relaxing you,” but by influencing your nervous system, hormones, breathing and even physical comfort.
Modern life often keeps us in a mild fight-or-flight state (stress mode). Slower styles of Yoga help shift the body toward the parasympathetic nervous system — your “rest and digest” mode.

When looking for a new mat for Pilates, a thicker and more supportive mat is great and for Yoga, a mat that is non-slip and not too spongy is the best. If you do both Pilates and Yoga, I recommend Second Earth and Yogi Peace Club which is where my mat is from. Mine is the deluxe 5mm mat and I get a 25% teachers discount (I can order your mat for you to be delivered to the studio, just send me the link to the one you want or wait for a sale to pop up!)
Both are Australian companies. They are a little pricier but so worth it!
