Welcome to my Gentle Chair Yoga Practice. This session is all seated in the chair.
You need a sturdy chair preferably with no arm rests or this practice is suitable for those in a wheelchair, pop the brakes on and maybe the back of the wheelchair positioned against the wall for extra stability.
You will also need a yoga block or similar, a sturdy book, box or a cushion.
Chair yoga can improve your balance, flexibility, concentration and strength….do you find it difficult getting up and down from the floor, your knees don’t like kneeling, or maybe you are coming back from an Injury, need a quick break at work after being at the computer, you may have no floor Space where you are.

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga but can still be quite dynamic, that can be done while sitting. If mobility allows, Some poses can also be done standing using a chair for support. ...
